Projects that sparked curiosity and engagement
Plant Stories
I researched and wrote 20 bite-sized plant stories for a public conservatory, focusing on "plants as resources." When possible, I highlighted indigenous uses, offering a richer narrative. The stories were designed to be flexible, so display signs could easily be swapped based on what was in bloom or fruiting.
Display Boards
I created main display boards and lollipop signs for a botanic garden, weaving together the stories of plants with a call to positive climate action. The displays were designed to spark curiosity, share knowledge, and inspire visitors to take small, meaningful steps toward a more climate-friendly future.
Tulip signs
I crafted playful, “wine label”-inspired profiles for eight tulip varieties, mixing a dash of humour with vivid descriptions. The signs were designed to celebrate the quirky charm of each tulip, bringing a smile to visitors’ faces while showcasing the rich diversity of the tulip family.
Website pages
I crafted vibrant, welcoming website pages for the BGANZ website, bringing two incredible gardens to life through storytelling. Using lively, accessible language, I highlighted each garden’s unique landscapes, collections, and conservation work, sparking curiosity and inspiring visitors to connect with these special places.
